Uncertain times have fallen on Deviantart. Everyone is confused, angry, and unsure. Jark is gone. I never knew him personal but he was definitly an iconic figure on Deviantart. What disturbs me is that comments are being deleted trying to cover up the fact that Jark was fired/forced resignation/whatever. People are afraid to speak their minds in fear of being banned. It's frightening and disturbing. I never thought I would see the day in which people were afraid to speak their minds on Deviantart.

Despite the chaos and uncertainty I do believe we need to ban together as a community. I doubt it's possible that a petition will bring Jark back as an administrator but I don't think we should stop trying. We must not let the administrators, staff, etc forget about this event. They aren't talking at the moment (which is rather a good idea if I was an admin because i would be praying this chaos would quickly die down) but we must keep pushing for information and the truth behind this mess because the more we push the greater the possibility the truth will come out. What the administrators and staff don't realize is that the longer they wait to tell us the truth the bigger the waves from this after shock grow and more people are informed and greater the anger gets. The great the time of silence grows that the admins and staff don't say something the closer we come as a community. I doubt we will all know the truth about this. If we do hear something I bet we will hear it on Deviantart's birthday August 7th.

$Spyed or whoever got Jark fired/forced to resign/whatever you want to call it may own Deviantart by name by WE as a community OWN Deviantart. Deviantart is MINE and YOURS. As a community we OWN it. WE make Deviantart RUN. WE can decide to END it or PUSH FORWARD.

Tell me your opinion, thoughts, ideas, or just use this journal to rant or talk. My mind is going crazy....
